Plain terms for a site that points at other people's work and tries to do it respectfully.
What this site is
Alien Life AI is a curated daily brief. We read publishers' and creators' public feeds, choose what seems to matter, write our own short notes about it, and link you to the source. We are not a news outlet and we do not republish anybody's work.
Whose work is whose
- Headlines, article links, video titles, dates and thumbnails belong to the publishers and creators who made them. They appear here for identification and to send you to the original, which is what the feeds are published for.
- The editorial notes and the creator write-ups are ours. They are opinion and framing, not summaries of anybody's article or video. If you want to know what a piece says, read it: the link is right there.
- Trade marks and channel names belong to their owners. Naming them is identification, not endorsement, and nothing here implies any of them endorses or is affiliated with this site.
How we treat sources
These are rules the build enforces, not intentions:
- We read published feeds only. No article page is ever fetched and nothing is crawled.
- Where a publisher's robots file asks automated tools to stay out, we carry the headline and the link and nothing else, whatever their feed happens to contain.
- No publisher's text is passed through an AI model to produce a summary.
- A publisher who asks to be left out entirely is left out entirely. At least one already is, and the deck names them and says why.
- We do not embed video. Every video is a link, so the view, the session and the subscribe all land with the creator.
Removal, and we mean it
Any publisher or creator who would rather not appear here is removed within 24 hours of asking. No argument, no negotiation, no request for a reason. Write to theoriesofanything@gmail.com. This is a standing policy, not a courtesy.
Accuracy, and its limits
Headlines, links and dates come from each source's own feed, untouched. We do not fact-check the publishers and creators we point at, and appearing here is not a claim that a story is true. The deck marks each item as Primary, Reported, Commentary or Unverified to say what kind of claim it is, which is a different thing from saying it is correct.
Our notes are drafted with AI assistance under human editorial responsibility, and the deck says so on its own face. Links break and feeds change. We correct what we find.
Using the site
Read it, link to it, quote a line of it with attribution. Do not scrape it, republish it wholesale, or present our notes as somebody else's. We would rather ask this plainly than bury it.
No warranty
The site is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for what you find on the sites we link to, which are not ours and not under our control.
Changes
These terms may change; the date at the foot of this page is when they last did.
