Mathematicians Hate AI. They Can’t Quit It
The interesting part is not the friction, it is who is reporting it. Mathematics is the field with the least tolerance for an answer that cannot be checked, so when its practitioners say a tool is both unbearable and indispensable, that tension is data about the tools rather than about the mathematicians. Worth reading alongside anything claiming the argument is settled in either direction.
